The North Wales Miners’ Association has resolved to vote £7 to every member of the union wishing to emigrate to America, and £14 to Australia and New Zealand. Intelligence has been received of the arrival at their destination of the following ships, conveying Government emigrants and dispatched by Sir Julius Vogel, the Agent-General for New Zealand:-In September and October last: the Hermione, for Wellington; Canterbury, for Otago; Marlborough, for Canterbury; Adamant, for Hawkes Bay; Oamaru, for Otago; and Fernglen, for Nelson. 1879
