NEW ZEALAND. A telegram from Wellington, New Zealand, dated the 6th inst., says:-"Sir George Grey has had a most satisfactory interview with the Maori chief Rewi at Waitara. Rewi gives his entire adherence to the Government. Another meeting is arranged for September with Rewi and the native king jointly to arrange for the completion of the Government system of railroads through the North Island. It is believed that no difficulties will arise in making necessary arrangements, and that the natives will probably give land for purchase. 1878
